Growing up, I remember Shashlik as one of my favorite weekend recipes that I would watch my mom make. It was a dish that was simple, quick, and even for a child – delicious. As an adult, I appreciate just how quick this recipe comes together and for my non-cooking friends, the fact that you already have most of the ingredients in your pantry. This is a great introductory dish to try if you are new to Indian cooking and/or flavors.
